YES. Your eyes are not fooling you.

I know dear. You hate those Network Admins who always find a way how to block your chat client. I’ve been there and like you, I’m really thankful that Meebo provides us a way of connecting us to our chat friends.

Imagining your faithful meebo will run on your desktop just like any of your chat client?

Don’t. Instead, download Adobe Air and Meebone and enjoy using Meebo as if you’re using it like a yahoo messenger client (you’re not limited to yahoo only, ok!?)

How does it work?

According to Wikipedia

Adobe AIR is a cross-platform runtime environment for building rich Internet applications using Adobe Flash, Adobe Flex, HTML, or Ajax, that can be deployed as a desktop application (so called Browserless).

Nose-bleed? It means you can run any internet based application for example, just like any desktop program using Adobe Air.

Note: When you download Meebone, it will saved as You have to rename the file to meebone-0.1-Beta7.air then run it to install Meebone. It’s still in Beta stage, so expect bugs OK?

Oops! By the way, a cyberslacker is a person at a company location who spends a lot of time on the Internet, but not for work-related activities. (I’m sure tinamaan ka.)
